Snatchlist was created to bring sellers and buyers together in an online auction format. Users of Snatchlist.com must be at least 18 years old. We ask all users not to sell adult material and to please report to Snatchlist if you do see adult material. We also ask that you use no profanity. Hopefully things go as smoothly as possible on every transaction, but if you do run into a problem, please try to resolve that problem level headed. If you feel you are not getting the satisfaction you deserve, then please contact us at Snatchlist and we'll do our best to help both parties.
Risks
There are risks to online purchasing. We at Snatchlist take those risks very seriously. We secure our site with GoDaddy and with Authorize.net. You can see our certificates for both GoDaddy and Authorize.net in our FAQs section. We also utilitize PayPal, which protects the sellers when they make purchaces. Please check with PayPal regarding the safety measures they take to protect their users. We ask that you be careful when you post and sell on Snatchlist. Please consider what type of posting you would like to select before you post an item. Be sure about what you are going to do before you do it. If you are a seller, please make sure you use a secured method of payment, such as PayPal. If you have no other option and must use a money order or check, please do so at your own risk. Snatchlist does suggest that you communicate with the buyer before you make said purchase. Also, please take advantage of our feedback options and see if that particular seller you are buying from has decent ratings before you make the purchase. Please feel comfortable first before you actually make a purchase using a non-secured checkout method such as a mail order, money order, or check.
Snatchlist Rights
Snatchlist does work with both the buyers and sellers. We will not simply terminate your account or your listings without contacting you first. If someone reports you for posting an item that's offensive or contains adult material, we will review it first and determine if it violates our policies. If it does, we will not take the posting down, but will ask you to either modify or delete the listing. Mistakes happen. Maybe you selected the wrong image when you went to post your listing. Of course if it does violate policies, and we ask you to modify or remove the listing, and you choose not to, then we will step in and remove the listing. If you keep violating our policies, we will warn you a few times before we actually suspend your account. We never want that to happen but we do reserve the right to do so. We also reserve the right to cancel bidders who constantly bid but never pay. We are a little more strict on bidders who do not pay. That is simply not fair to the sellers who are honest and simply trying to sell their product. If you are a bidder and you make a mistake and bid on something you didn't mean to, contact the seller and inform them that you made a mistake. Chances are the seller will understand and we all can work together to remove the bid that was placed accidently. But, if you are a bidder who constantly bids and never pays, you will be removed as quickly as possible from our site.
Be Smart
Be careful with your listings. Remember, you are solely responsible for what you post. Snatchlist takes no legal responsibilites for what you post. If you have something in your possession that is illegal, please do not post it on Snatchlist. Remember, Snatchlist is on the Internet and everything on the Internet is on the Internet forever. If it's illegal to own, sell, look at, touch, whatever, please keep it away from Snatchlist.
